Models Unpacked (U.S. Rifleman from Pegaso Models)

Hi,

Hey

today i want to show you a further miniature review.

The figure is the U.S. Marine Rifleman "Khe Sanh 1968" from Pegaso Models in scale 1:24

The model was a must have in my collection, but what have me stopped to buy this figure earlier? The price! The regular figure price is about ~85-95€ . Many ambitious figurepainter are accustomed of this high prices, but for me it was a very big bulk of money. At the Scale Model Challenge I could deal with a retailer and paid "only" 72€ for the Marine (it gave only one model at the whole trade fair :-) ). It was still a lot of money, but with the safed money i got a little extra for the next figure "Brock the wanderer" but more of this figure in the next review tomorrow :-)

Ok back to the Marine, lets come to the packaging. The figure was packed in a printed fold box with two big foams and a little plastikbag for the small parts. The full parts are very clear and you have the choice to build the model with to different heads and a seperate helmet.

Gussgrate?

Burrs? I found nearly nothing! Definitely no burrs which reduce my fancy to build and paint this project. The whole model is completly out of tin include a little scenic base.

Im really looking forward to give this figure what it deserved... PAINT!

Fazit:
