Blood Angels Commission "Corbulo" and "Sanguinius Priest"

Hey Guys,

a few days ago I've showed you a picture of two Blood Angel Marines. This was a small commission for a Tabletop gaming army I've painted. I planed about 2 hours of work for each marine at the end the whole paintjob for both marines took me about 5 hours.

 

The next commission I got is a special sculpted 18cm tall miniature. And this time finialy a commission with nearly no time limit "thank you god!" :). At the end it should be a cabinet modell for a collector. And I'm very honoured that I'm allowed to paint this model! Stay tuned! I will show you a few pictures of the project in the next days.

Wooorkbench Lifesign from CrazyWenky

Hey Guys,

maybe you remember me, it’s me CrazyWenky I’m one of dieVincis :D!

Yes a long time has passed since my last post. A reeeally long time. There are a lot of things I had and still have to do outside the hobby and if I have some time for painting or sculpting whatever the motivation for a blog post didn’t exist. Fortunately my new hobby room is finished and now I have no more an excuse for a missing work place!

Anyway :) I don’t wanna talk too much about less motivation, or find some reason why I’m so long away from the blog. Let’s celebrate my first NEW Blogpost after some Months!

In November Phil, Vlado and I decided to try a little motivation push. We called it One month one project (and a post of this project on the blog). If anyone don’t complete this monthly challenge have to pay 5€ in our summer Barbecue Piggy Bank :D. Ok at the moment Vlado and I (especially me) were the power supporter for this event :) Phil did nearly all of his projects (damned you and your motivation :D). Be sure you will see the pictures of our EpicVinciMealtime :D because you know, dieVincis contains all the things for real men... miniatures and good food :D

Ok back to the challenge I painted every month a project up to 90% ready and started a new one in the followed months. Bad mistake I should always finish the one piece and show it on the followed month :). Ok this is now past. Today you see a few of my WIP pictures of the last OMOP’s (my new word for “One month one project“ OMOP). I hope you like it. All projects still WIP ;) I hope to finish this pieces soon! The bust and the Goblin will get a little unpacked in the next days :) Stay tuned:)

CrazyWenky WIP

Hi Leute,

nach wieder einmal langer Abstinenz meinerseits, etwas von meinen aktuellen WIP Arbeiten. Ich halte es beim heutigen Posting kurz und schmerzlos ^^ Bilder sprechen mehr als Tausend Worte :)

Aktuell bin ich an Alice von Nocturna Models. Dieses Modell hat mich von Anfang an in seinen Bann gezogen und musste in meine Sammlung der 1000 Projekte wandern :).

After a another long abstinence for my part, some small pictures of my current WIP projects. I keep it short and pregnant (i always have to smile if i use pregnant in this english wordplay ^^) but anyway pictures talk more than thousand words.

actually i work on Alice from Nocturna Models. I love this model from the begining and i have to buy it for my 1000 projects :)

Als erstes die Dark Angels Sergents und Helden zusammen mit dem Stromtalon. Alles ein Kundenauftrag vom letzten Jahr noch (ja der Kunde gab mir einiges an Bearbeitunszeit). Es gibt immernoch ein paar Details, die aktuell noch fehlen. Ich hatte letzte Woche eigentlich versprochen bis Ende des Wochenendes alles fertigzustellen, allerdings haben die Familienbesuche doch etwas mehr Zeit in Anspruch genommen. 
 

The Dark Angels sergents and commands  with the stromtalon. All commission works from the last year (yes the customer gave me a lot of time :D). There are still a lot of missing details. Last week i promised to finish the project til this day, but the family visits at the easter holidays take more time i planed.

Ebenso habe ich vor einer Weile mit der Kazan Tigerbüste von Raffaele Picca begonnen. Ein wirklich wunderschöne Büste und sie malt sich fast von allein!

Lately i start to paint the awesome Kazan Tigerbust  from Raffaele Picca. A really wonderfull bust and she gets color nearly by herself!

Paintingsession and Workbench

Hey,

heute wollte ich euch einen kleinen Bericht von meinem kleinen Malkränzchen ohne meine Vinci Mitstreiter berichten.
Mein guter Kumpel Joe kam zu besuch um mal wieder ein bischen den Pinsel zu schwingen und nach langer Malabstinenz wieder ins Hobby zu kommen.

today i want to give you a little report of my little painting section without my Vincis Guys.
My good friend Joe visited me to paint with me and to start back in the hobby after a long paintingbreak.

Es war ein wirklich schöner Tag und man hat sich wieder einmal gegenseitig Motiviert und Ideen ausgetauscht. Zu unserer verwunderung stieß danach noch unser Freund Björn zu uns, der bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch nichts mit dem Miniaturenhobby zu tun hatte. Da wir einen Malkränzchen geplant hatten und uns dieses natürlich nicht nehmen liesen, blieb ihm nichts anderes übrig als mitzumalen :D und siehe da er hatte ordentlich Spass was an seinem Grinsen zu sehen ist.

It was a really nice day with some good motivations and a lot of ideas we shared. To our amazing  our friend Björn visited us at the evening. He never painted a miniature before or have a miniature in his hand and so he have to painted a miniature because we didn't want to end our painting section :D. But at the end he got a lot of fun with the Painting you see it in his smile :D.

 

Joe bemalte den Barbar von Redbox Miniatures, ein wunderschönes Modell das ich jetzt irgendwie auch haben will :D zudem bauten wir zusammen einen kleinen Sockel um ihm nachher besser in Scene zu setzen. Zusätzlich seht ihr das erste geniale Werk von Björn. Seinen ersten Imperialen Soldaten :)

Joe was painting the barbarian from Redbox Miniatures, a wonderfull model which i want too know :D. In addition we build a little showbase together. At one picture your see Björns first great work a imperial troop soldier :)

Nur ein Genie beherrscht das Chaos ^^.... naja ich sollt trotzdem schauen das ich mein Platz während der Arbeit net ganz so zusau!

Only a genius dominates the chaos ^^.... but i really shouldn't waste my workplace during my work the next time!

Desweiteren konnte ich letzte Woche endlich einen Bemalauftrag beenden, den ich wegen Schulstress bereits seit mitte Dezember durchbox. Vielen lieben Dank nochmal an meinen lieben Kunden, der wirklich viel Geduld mit mir hatte. Als kleines Dankeschön gibts im November ein kleines Geburtstagsgeschenk das ihr hier im Blog natürlich wieder verfolgen könnt.

In addition last week i finished a commission work, which i boxed since the middle of dezember until last week. Very much thanks to my customer, he really got a lot of patience. For his patience, he will get a small birthday present in november. I will show you the WIP pictures on the blog.

Das aktuelle Projekt an dem ich die nächsten 2 1/2 Wochen extrem Zeit verbringen werde, ist mein Sherman Panzer für den Workshop. Dieser Bau wird genaustens Dokumentiert und dient später für unsere komplette Fahrzeug Tutorial Sektion und natürlich als Anschauungsmodell für den Workshop und unser Handout.

My current project for the next 2 1/2 weeks is a sherman tank for our Tank Painting Workshop. The building will be documented for our tutorial section and for our Workshop handout.

Morning WIPs

Hi,

so auch von mir gibts nach langer Zeit mal wieder was. Momentan arbeite ich gerade an mehreren Sachen gleichzeitig (wie sonst halt auch immer ^^) 3 Projekte haben neben meiner aktuellen Auftragsarbeit gerade Prio 1. Unteranderem Isabella von Carstein. Es ist wirklich noch ein haufen Arbeit, aber man sieht evtl in welche Richtung sich das Projekt bewegt :).



Aktuell arbeite ich immernoch an einem Ravening Bikeauftrag. Ich hoffe das ich den Auftrag diese Woche noch fertigstellen kann, damit ich den Kunde nicht länger warten lassen muss. Hier mal ein kleines sneak pic. Ende der Woche kommen die fertigen Bilder Online.

Kurzer Werkbankeinblick :D

Hey

hier mal ein kleiner Ausschnitt von meinen aktuellen Sachen auf der Werkbank. Wieder einmal ein neuer Auftrag meines Deathwing Kunden :). 20 Ravenwingbikes, die diesmal zusammengebaut ankamen und lediglich bemalt werden müssen. Des weiteren nochmal ein Baal Predator der als weiteres Vorzeigeobjekt für unseren Panzerworkshop dient auf dem ich alles raushol was meine Bemalfertigkeiten hergeben :D.
Der Steinyack wird ein großes ein riiiichtig großes Projekt, vermutlich wird das ein zwei Jahresprojekt ^^ aber das lohnt sich dann.

Here a small picture of my current things on my workbench. A follow order from my Deathwing customer. I have to paint 20 builded Ravenwingbikes. Further i will paint my second baal predator for a demonstration on our Vehiclepainting Workshop.
The Stoneyack will be a big a very big project. Maybe it will be a 2 year project ^^ but it is worth.

Deathwing Belial

Hey,

i want to show you my last commission work, for my favorite customer. He bought this figure as his own present for christmas. Fortunately the mini has arrived on time for christmas evening :) I hope you like it.

Ich will euch noch meine letzte Auftragsarbeit von meinem Lieblingskunden zeigen. Er kaufte sich die Figur für sein eigenes persönliches Weihnachtsgeschenk. Zum Glück ist die Figur noch pünktlich zum Weihnachtsabend angekommen :D. Ich hoffe er gefällt :)

Furthermore in the last time i work on a way to create good spiderwebs for a small messure. Raffaele Picca from Massive Voodoo used a exceptional technique for one of his last projects. But until now he didn't tell how it works :). Now after a view attempts i think i got it soon. Tomorrow i do more tests and then i write a Tutorial about it.

Zudem bin ich in letzter Zeit stark am herumtüffteln wie man am besten Spinnenweben im kleinen Maßstab erstellt. Raffaele Picca von Massive Voodoo hat bei einer seiner letzten Projekte eine relativ abstrakte Technik benutzt, die er bisher aber unter Verschluss gehalten hat. Ich denke ich bin dem ganzen einen Schritt näher gekommen :). Morgen folgen weitere Versuche und dann werd ich dazu ein Tutorial verfassen.

CrazyWenky's Workbench

Hier mal ein kleines Update, was bei mir gerade so auf dem Basteltisch steht. Der Araber muss diese Woche leider noch etwas warten, dafür startet der nächste Woche voll durch :D.
Momentan stehen bei mir noch zwei Auftragsarbeiten auf dem Tisch. Die erste, sind zwei Razorbacks vom gleichen Kunden wie damals die Assault RAM und die zweite Arbeit sind 15 x 25mm und eine 40mm Nurglebase für ein Blood Bowl Team zu modellieren und zu bemalen.

Here is a little update, whats up with my workbench at the moment. The arabian warrior have to wait this week, but next week the work on my arabian diorama goes on :D.
At the moment i still work on 2 commissions. The first commission is a follow order from the same customer who have ordered the Assault RAM. The second commission is to sculp 15 x 25mm round bases and 1 x 40mm round base in Nurgle style for a Blood Bowl Team.





Wo ich gerade schon am modellieren war und demnächst ja auch der Modellierworkshop mit Badsmile vor der Türe steht, hats mich irgendwie gejuckt und ich MUSSTE EINFACH anfangen ne kleine Büste zu modellieren. Ich hoffe das ich am Workshop noch eine menge lerne um meine Fähigkeiten im Modellieren zu verbessern. So schaut die Büste mal nach 30 min Arbeit aus fehlt natürlich noch sehr viel ;)

During i sculped on my commission and the sculp workshop with Badsmile is coming, i had to begin on my first self sculped bust. I hope my sculp skills would be better on the workshop :). This is the bust after 30 min of work.

The never ending story :) Deathwing Terms

Man man man, bin ich froh das mein Kunde so geduldig ist ^^. In letzter Zeit ziemlich wenig dazu gekommen weiter zu malen geschweige denn was zu Posten.

So langsam neigen sich die Terms aber wirklich dem Ende zu. Die einzelnen Terms sind nun soweit fertig. Lediglich die einzelnen Waffen der speziellen Terms, sind noch zu bemalen. Für 6 Modelle sind es insgesamt 38 verschiedene Waffen, die es zu magnetisieren und zu bemalen galt!!! Jeder der 6 speziellen Terms, kann somit mit jeder erdenklichen Kombo bewaffnet werden.

Ich hatte schon ein paar Anfragen, was es bei den "Deathwing" Terminatoren mit den grünen Schulterpanzern und den "Ravenwing" Abziehbildern aufsich hat und nicht Story Konform ist. Hier kann ich nur sagen "Der Kunde ist König" :) war alles so gewunschen und wurde eben so umgesetzt.
